How do you imagine the dreamy place to spend your holiday at?
To me, it is a place, peaceful and remote, with as less as possible people around. A place to take a book, and get lost in it. A place to have a long walk on the beach and do not get pricked by a sea urchin, a place to not sleep nights because you cannot get enough of a the bracing sea air nor enough of bautiful sunset. That is how I imagine my dreamy place for a holiday and ya...There is such a place that I visited a year ago, enjoyed and was crying on the way because did not wanna leave such heaven. This heaven is called Perhentian, located at Northern part of Malaysia and it takes aproximatelly 9 hours from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, to get there. THe food there...I cannot even describe it in any possible way, you just NEED to experience  and taste it yourself. Western food, traditional barbeque with pineapple and watermelon, then traditional Malaysia food with my favourite "sayur-sayuran sup"(vegetable soup)...are just delicacies that you must try.

I warmly recommend you to visit this pearl and stay amazed by its beautiness.
